Songstress-on-the-rise Lune is the latest to receive some sterling remix work from exquisitely talented production duo Mao, who offer up a haunting, atmospheric re-work of her track 'Falling' especially for Clash.
Taken from her mystical debut album 'Music & Sports', 'Falling' is almost totally re-programmed amidst rolling drum beats, re-hashed vocal cries and subtle thuds of reverb, all of which give the track a new and enchanting undercurrent.
Throw in Lune's inescapably dreamy hook and you've got yourself a pretty compelling listen that, despite all Mao's instrumental wizardry, still manages to showcase Lunes' Bjork-esque verve to the fullest.
With 'Music & Sports' already earning some pretty stellar critical acclaim, we reckon this is probably the start of big things for Lune too.
Check it out on Clash.
