I Can Only Give You Everything
The 45s

It's the 21st century - we are officially living in the future.

Yet some of the most exciting new projects in British music are defiantly shifting to the past. The Strypes burst into the Top Ten last year with their debut album, packed to the gunnels with greasy rhythm 'n' blues.

Now Carlisle's own The 45s could follow suit. A fresh faced four piece, the band joined Wilko Johnson on tour last year and learned some vital lessons from the Dr Feelgood master.

Adding a snotty garage punk edge to their taut R&B thrills, The 45s have blazed a trail across the country. With their relentless gigging schedule, the band are doing it the hard way, the old fashioned way - and loving every minute.

The group are set to perform at this year's Dot To Dot festival, playing shows in Manchester, Bristol and Nottingham. Fred Perry's Subculture will be in attendance at the event, shooting a number of performances - check out last year's clips HERE.

Ahead of this, The 45s have posted a cover version of Them's R&B warhorse 'I Can Only Give You Everything' - check it out below.
