'Skeleton Dance' (Boxed In Remix)

In a sense, psychedelia has always been an extremely English genre.

Spending afternoons exploring the outer reaches of the human consciousness in Hertfordshire, diving into the recesses of the soul in Devon... from Syd Barrett to TOY, Robyn Hitchcock to Temples psychedelia seems to work at its best when aligned to a splendidly English identity.

Teleman have such an identity. The band's music is continually pulled back to the early 70s, to an era when Jon Pertwee was Doctor Who and Brutalist architecture began poking through the skylines of our cities.

The band's debut album was a fantastic distillation of English psych-pop, with highlight 'Skeleton Dance' now gaining a full single release (check out the memorable video HERE.

Set to play a nationwide tour this Autumn, Teleman will be joined by Boxed In as support. To coincide, the producer has decided to re-work 'Skeleton Dance' and the results are marvellous.

Honing in on those trippy textures, Boxed In heightens the band's lysergic tendencies while also pushing a driving, motorik rhythm through the heart of their songwriting.

An inspiring, enchanting remix you can check it out below.

Teleman have confirmed the following shows:

18 Leeds Brudenell Social Club
20 Manchester Gorilla
21 Birmingham Hare and Hounds
22 London Heaven
24 Brighton Haunt
