'Babyboy'
Monika

New York is a city of arrivals, a place where people come to be free.

Monika definitely found this. A young artist with her roots in Greece, the singer notched up two platinum albums in her homeland before arriving in NYC.

Working alongside producer Homer Steinweiss, Monika used the astonishing analogue kit at Dunham Sounds Studios to achieve something which sounds resolutely New York but retains that Mediterranean feel.

Clash is able to premiere 'Babyboy' and it's a coy, stylish and immediately infectious cut that allies an early 80s disco strut to some deliriously funky bass.
