'Rose Tinted'

There's a epic streak running through Waylayers.

Sure, the band's music has an intimacy, a blissful pop feel but there's also a clear willingness to communicate.

Snapped up by Alcopop! Records, Waylayers' debut EP 'Fault Lines' was warmly received on its release last year.

Since then, the band have spread their live wings, developing a confident, strident new sound. Set to play a flurry of British shows, the band are also due to release double single 'Take Hold' b/w 'Footsie' on September 15th.

As a special treat for fans, Clash is able to premiere a live rendition of 'Rose Tinted'. Recorded at London venue the Roundhouse, there's a fragility to the performance which is most affecting.

Fusing gossamer electronics with supple pop melodies, Waylayers are continually looking outward, continually seeking to advance.

Check out their ambition now.
