Last Words

Hospitality aren - ironically enough - far from the most welcoming of first listens.

Lyrically quite stark, the band's brooding - often quite intense - songwriting takes its time to seep under the skin. Yet when it does, the band's music becomes familiar, warm, unavoidable - true hospitality after all.

Second album 'Trouble' emerged earlier this year, a subtle and affecting return from the group. Setting their sights on Europe, Hospitality have now confirmed plans for a series of tour dates.

New single 'Last Words' is a neat introduction to the group. Opening with dark synths and a chugging, post-punk inspired bass line, the track builds in intensity before the vocal cuts in.

A tale of love gone wrong, there are shades of residual feeling lying underneath, of emotions in conflict with one another.

Check it out now.

Hospitality have confirmed the following shows:

21 Brighton Sticky Mikes Frog Bar
22 Leeds Brudenell Social Club
23 Glasgow Broadcast
24 Dublin Whelans
26 London Sebright Arms
