The EP is the second release from the band who peaked at 7 on the US Billboard chart with their self-titled debut release last year.

Meyrin Fields initially appeared as a B-Side to previous single The Ghost Inside, but the EP has two previously unreleased tracks: Windows & Heartless Empire.
