Entrancing visuals for a return to straight up techno...

One of Warp's central artists, Clark has drifted into the left field of late.

Tiring of continual experimentation, the producer recently decided that the most inspiring, the most unexpected move he could make would be back towards the dancefloor.

'Riff Through The Fog' is out now on 12 inch, marking a renewed directness in Clark's sound.

"I wanted to make tracks that had subtle depth and longevity but were simple and hooky enough to work on the dancefloor" the Warp artist commented. "They've been tried and tested many times in different ways at all of my recent live shows. It was also really important to tie the oscilloscope imagery visuals into the art work. All in all I was hoping a singular, potent slab of techno that could be matched with accompanying visuals for the live show."

Visual producers Vincent Adoxo and Steven Bliss steered the video process, using an oscilloscope to represent the subtle shifts and dynamic swerves in Clark's production.

Watch it now.
