Liverpool newcomers unveil next single...
Stuck In My Teeth

There must be something magical in the Mersey.

Liverpool has a claim on one great band for each generation, with the city's music scene continually churning out mavericks, oddballs and complete one offs.

Already cult heroes, Circa Waves could well be next in line. Debut album 'Get Away' / 'Good For Me' emerged via tastemakers du jour Transgressive in December, and since then hype around the four piece has accelerated.

Snapped up by Virgin, Circa Waves are set to release their new single 'Stuck In My Teeth' on March 31st. No doubt set to mark the point where fan frenzy descends upon the group, it's a witty, infectious and oddly moving return from the Liverpool quarter.

An anthem in waiting, the hugely experienced figure of Jim Abiss sat in on production duties, while Circa Waves insisted on recording the track in their home city.

Out on March 31st, Clash is able to premiere the video for 'Stuck In My Teeth'. Shot by Primal Scream and Temples collaborator Abbie Stephens, the clip was completed in just one take with no edits or post-production work.

Check it out now.
