Dry The River called at London’s The Hospital Club for an intimate performance and interview with broadcaster Zoe Ball – and you can watch the footage right here on Clash, before anywhere else.
Part of the Music Room series, the band’s appearance sees them chatting at length with Zoe before taking to the stage for ‘Med School’. They discuss the studio set-up for the making of their 2014 LP, ‘Alarms In The Heart’ (recorded at Sigur Rós’ studio in Iceland), and how their songs come together – from rough demos to full-bloodied end results.
You know, they even went to medical school, these guys, so could that be a factor in this song’s title? Probably. The song’s taken from ‘Alarms In The Heart’, a set featuring a lovely guest turn from former Delgados member Emma Pollock, which is out now on Transgressive.
