Sun-kissed indie from Australia...

The VANNS are on the march.

The band's long-awaited debut album is a stellar introduction, a commanding, wonderfully executed collection of sun-kissed indie anthems.

The Melbourne outfit have a dogged following of their own, with recent live shows boasting some packed out venues.

Setting their sights on the UK, The VANNS are ready to return with bold, immediately infectious new single 'Mother'.

Recorded at Melbourne’s Head Gap Studio with Oscar Dawson (Holy Holy, Ali Barter) and mixed by Chris Collins (Gang Of Youths), ‘Mother’ matches pangs of nostalgia to their glorious bittersweet melodies.

A confident step forward, the band's Jimmy Vann explains: "Working with Oscar was like having an older brother in the band, a fifth member who related so well with us lads, the songs and how we wanted to record them."

Director Warwick Hughes steers the visuals, and the results are superbly evocative, a real high point from a talented group.
