Video exclusive!

New all-star Scottish indie-folk project Strike The Colours have given ClashMusic an exclusive first glimpse at their new video 'Breathing Exercise'.

Glasgow thrives on its close knit music scene. While the city may be known for big names such as Franz Ferdinand and The Fratellis there are a number of musicians who, it seems, just can't sit still.

Take Jenny Reeve. When not adding her crystal clear vocals to Malcolm Middleton's output the singer has helped formed new group Strike The Colours with members of Idlewild and Emma Pollock's backing band.

A veritable supergroup of Scottish indie-folk proportions, the group's easy interplay shows the talent of the musicians involved. Relaxed yet sincere, Strike The Colour's debut album is set to be launched next month.

Before then, however, Strike The Colours have a new single to get out of the way. Titled 'Breathing Exercise' it is a wonderful slice of songwriting demonstrating that while Jenny Reeve may be best known as a backing vocalist, she most definitely has her own voice.
