The perfect Christmas present for any fan...
The Stone Roses

It's been almost 25 years since The Stone Roses released their debut album.

Yet barely a day goes by without someone new falling under its charm, allowing its classic songwriting to enter every pore. Reforming two years ago, the band remain as inspiring as ever with Shane Meadows' documentary 'Made Of Stone' helping to expose this unique form of adulation.

Photographer Steve Double knew the band and was lucky enough to shoot them on several occasions during his illustrious career. Opening a web store, Double has crafted a small number of new prints, resurrecting some classic photographs in the process.

To celebrate, Clash is lucky enough to be able to give away a rare print of The Stone Roses (that's it above!). Here's a quote from the photographer to add a little background to the image:

"The classic early Roses press shot, originally from a shoot for Sounds magazine. John Squire had this giant printout of one of his paintings which he just stuck on the side of the bands old transit van; et voila, instant backdrop! This is a rare, recently unearthed and previously unseen colour version of the well-known B/W image. Manchester, 28th February 1989, Manchester."

To stand a chance of winning this rare print, just answer the following question:

What is the name of The Stone Roses' second album?

Peruse this (and plenty other prints) at Steve Double's new web store.
